In 1994, farmer and engineer Dave Rubey needed a safer way to see behind farm equipment after a neck injury made turning his head nearly impossible. When he could not find a camera system tough enough for farm use, he built what became AgCam. Since incorporating in 2002, Dakota Micro has grown into multiple rugged camera product lines for agriculture, construction, trucking, industrial, and other work applications.
