This slide shows an electrostatic gun test using a competitor's TVS architecture. The graphic on the left is before testing, and on the right is after conducting the electrostatic gun test. Regardless if it is under the ESD test of air, I/O, or GND, the result is latch-up danger. This will affect signal transmission and cause the TVS to be damaged.
